The Cape Naturaliste Community Association Inc (CNCA) is a resident-run, not-for-profit association formed to preserve and protect the environment, sustainability and amenity of the Cape Naturaliste region with all matters relating to waste management in the Busselton Shire and Cape region.

Reduction and prevention of pollution and environmental harm

Protection and preservation of natural resources - water, soil and air

Remediation and rehabilitation of degraded areas

Improved environmental management, especially of publicly owned land

Improved waste management and resource recovery across the Busselton Shire

In practice that means:

We engage in activities that include, but are not limited to:

Educating and engaging the local and broader community

Advocacy to government authorities and decision makers

Research, analysis and environmental monitoring

Enhancing community participation in management and decision making

Collaborating and partnering with other organisations, landholders, businesses, experts, and authorities

Engaging regulatory and legal systems, including taking legal action where necessary
